Gertrude Hamilton was born and educated in Ghent, Belgium. Devoted solely to botanical and natural history illustration. Gertrude uses antiqued paper and combines a variety of historical inspirations with a modern sensibility to create unique and refreshed interpretations of a classic genre. Gertrude currently resides in New York City with her husband and two children.
