I have been receiving the Hail the Snail Mail packages since the beginning (three years now?) and it is always wonderful to receive them. I love how thoughtfully the package is put together with poems, stickers, cards. And I love receiving a special package in the mail each month. Plus I have cards on hand any time I need them. Two special cards this past month, special request for a wedding and a 4 year old grandson’s birthday. They are perfect.
A friends partner passed and I realized I didn't have a sympathy card to hand. My subscription arrived the next day and magically there was a perfect card in the package. A plain embossed flower. Of course I was stuck for words and then remembered Darcy's advice for sympathy cards - write a memory of the person who has passed. So I did and mailed it off. A few days later I received a message from my friend "Thank you for the sweet card. It brought back some memories that I had not thought of for some time and made my heart smile." Which of course made my heart smile! Thank you for having such excellent taste Darcy and making the cards and stickers exactly what I need!
